We believe that by using our structured sober living environments to build strong, independent, purpose driven men, we can begin flooding our local communities with the leadership they so desperately require. Through faith-based fellowship, service and accountability our program helps to bridge the gap between flesh and spirit. Instilling beliefs that not only help us resist our addictive personality traits and character defects. But to also resist the Status quo on a what a man is or should be.
Why we believe in
The current path for mental health and substance abuse diagnoses is all based out of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders or DSM-5.
The book is 947 pages, listing over 300 mental illness types and not one mention of a spirit, soul or conscious. In our eyes they are only addressing half the problem, The FLESH.
The Resistance, with the guidance of some of the leaders in the industry, has built a program that bridges the gap between FLESH and SPIRIT.
A program rooted in biblical practices geared towards healing the spirit and flesh in a holistic manner.

Hot Meals Served

We can bring men in with little to no funds and get them started on their re-entry program. With our faith-based program we have the opportunity to house these men for up to 18 months depending on the wreckage they are trying to repair.
It takes time to pick up the pieces of your life, it takes time for us to heal the childhood traumas and It takes even more time to build a foundation with a strong faith based fellowship.
Time is not something the current treatment path is accommodating. We believe that our Faith Based Sober Living Environments have an opportunity to instill long lasting change based on biblical teachings.
Bridging that gap between Flesh and Spirit.
The Resistance Health and Wellness Group believes fellowship is the most important part of extended sobriety. Let us show you why.
We are committed to building strong, purpose-driven men who can become leaders within the Phoenix community and beyond.
Our program, "The Wilderness Chapter," supports men from their rock bottom foundation to unstoppable restoration.
